Iowa Lakes finishes out the first semester with a 67-49 win over Marshalltown. The Lakers were led by Shareece Smith with 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 steals. Brianna O'Donnell added 10 points.
"Proud of our kids and how they finished out the first semester. Thought we guarded pretty well and rebounded the ball really well with a 40-24 advantage on the boards. Will be a much needed break for our kids," commented Coach Martin.
The Lakers are 10-4 on the season and 1-1 in conference play. The Lakers return to action on Wednesday, January 8th when they host Southwestern Community College at 5:30pm.
