Iowa Lakes Women's Basketball team tops DMACC 73-66 . The Lakers had three in double figures. Shareece Smith led the Lakers with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Safiyer Coleman and Breanna Wendland both added 15 points a piece.
"Great team win tonight. I thought our kids played their hearts out and improved. We got over the hump tonight and pulled away in the fourth quarter when we needed to. We made plays down the stretch when we needed them. We can build off of this," commented Coach Martin.
The Lakers are 12-6 on the season and 3-3 in conference play. The Lakers return to action on Saturday, January 22nd when they host Ellsworth at 1:00pm.
