The Lakers will compete against Marshalltown Community College in Estherville Saturday February 19th at 1:00 p.m. Iowa Lakes will honor the sophomores before the game.

Iowa Lakes women's basketball is currently 12-6 in conference and 18-10 on the season. The Lakers are coming off a road win against Iowa Central. The Lakers are led in scoring by Jaeda Whitner who is averaging 17.1 points per game. Also averaging double figures is Rachel Breck with 10.3 points per game and Rachel Puok with 10.1 points per game.  The Lakers are second in the conference for total made field goal attempts with 741.

The Marshalltown tigers are currently 7-21 on the season and 4-14 in conference play. The Tigers are on a one game win streak with a current win against Southeastern Community College. Leading the tigers is freshman guard, Ianara Morbidoni, who is averaging 11.7 points per game. The Tigers are second in the conference, behind Kirkwood, for made three-point attempts with 222 on the season.
