The Lakers win on the road at Southwestern 65-52.  The Lakers were led by Gracelyn Deputy with 20 points. Paige Martin added 11 points, Zoey Wooten and Morgan Bednarek both added 9 points a piece.

Southwestern was led by Brooklyn Hadl with 22 points.

"it was fun to be back playing after the break for the holidays. I thought the team played really well together and moved the basketball side to side. Was proud of the growth we made in zone offensive execution," commented Head Coach Ashley Martin.

The Lakers are 7-10 on the season and 2-4 in conference play.  The Lakers return to action on Wednesday, January 8th when they travel to Boone, IA to take on DMACC at 5:30pm. The Lakers next home game is Saturday, January 11th vs Ellsworth CC at 1:00pm.
