Iowa Lakes freshman Annika DuMoulin took part in the 2018 NJCAA Women's Golf Championship at Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona last week from May 14th to May 17th. Annika posted a four day total of 372 and would end up with a T-77 finish out of 114 players to conclude her first year with Iowa Lakes after being named to 1st Team All-Region for Region XI in the NJCAA.

"The National Championship is a completely different animal than our regional tournament and it was a great experience for Annika to see just how talented NJCAA women's golf is." said Coach Weber. "Annika has a lot of talent and had a great first season, but now she knows just how much work it will take to compete at a national level. The national tournament showed her how far she has come but also how far she has to go to get to where she wants to be. Hopefully this will fuel her to improve this summer and be ready to lead our women's program next season as we have some very talented young ladies coming to play in the fall. I could not be more proud of how she played this year and couldn't be more excited for what next year brings."
