The Laker women began their spring season at a tournament in Texas over spring break. The trip allowed them to get a head start on the season.

"It was a great experience for our team. The girls were very anxious to get outside and play," commented Head Coach Jarvis Weber.

Head Coach Jarvis Weber has two returners this year, first team all-region and national qualifier Annika DuMoulin and local standout from Estherville Molly Diekmann. "Annika and Molly have done a great job leading the entire golf program," commented Weber.

The two sophomores are great leaders who put in the time to see improvement everyday. The sophomores are joined by newcomers Abby Stender, Alexia Kemper, and Erin Baum

"These three freshmen are very talented and dedicated athletes," commented Weber.

The women's team had a very successful fall season winning two tournaments and setting a new team scoring record, as well as reaching multiple individual goals. This success will propel them into their spring season. They are working toward sending at least four competitors to the National Tournament in an effort to earn a team score.

The Lakers will travel to tournaments in Wichita, Omaha, Lincoln, and Fort Dodge. Regional Tournament play takes place over back-to-back weekends to qualify for the National Tournament in Florida.
