The No. 6 Iowa Lakes wrestling team topped NIACC 44-5 in an ICCAC dual meet to remain undefeated. The Lake wrestlers won seven of eight matches that were contested, and nine of ten overall.

The Lakers picked up falls from David Hollingsworth III at 157 pounds Bunmi Smith at 174 pounds.

Head coach Cody Alesch is happy with the the aggressive nature of his team when he said "We as the coaching staff are always preaching that you need to be offensive and make your opponent react to you, and we're starting to see a lot of the guys do that now and the results are reflected on the scoreboard."  

The Laker wrestlers travel to Miami, OK to take on some of the nations bests at the NEO duals on Friday January 11th.
