The Lakers were topped by Iowa Central 3-36 The Lakers were led by Sophmore Heavyweight Mitchell Williamson, who won his match 5-4.

 "We lost alot of close matches, in most of those matches we didn't come out firing and Iow aWestern was able to captailize. When you're wrestlking anymore as toiugh as Iowa Western you can't dig yourself a hole earlt and expect to be dig yourself out. How the team responds will have a massive impact on how the rest of our season goes." Commented  Coach Alesch.

The Lakers are 0-1 on conference play with loss to Iowa Western. The Lakers return to action next wednesday when the Trition of Iowa Central come to Estherville for a 7 pm match.
