Lakers compete at BVU Open

The Lakers competed at the BVU open this past weekend in Storm Lake, IA. Despite the rigorous competition there were several Lakers that impressed coach Alesch "Miles Knuckles keeps improving each time he wrestles, he has a strong skill set and has the ability to score points from a lot of different positions which makes him extremely dangerous and force to be respond with. Logan Koedam is just starting to hit his stride. He had a slow start to the season because of an injury but he comes from a strong high school program in West Sioux and it's obvious that he has a high wrestling IQ and competes hard every time he steps on the mat."

The Lakes return to action when they travel to Miami, OK for NEO duals on January 10th & 11th and will compete at home next when they wrestle NIACC at Spirit Lake High School on January 14th at 6pm.
