William Penn led the Lakers to a Top 25 finish at the NJCAA D1 National Tournament. By finishing in 8th place at the NJCAA National Championships, earning the prestigious title of All-American, the 39th Laker to do so. His journey to the podium reflects countless hours of training, dedication, and a commitment to excellence.

"This is a tremendous accomplishment for William and our program," said Corey Meyer, head coach of the Laker Wrestling team. "He has demonstrated incredible perseverance throughout the season and has set a remarkable example for his teammates. Dominic Chimeno, Jadyn Friedrichs, Etheend Deyampert, Giovanni Hernandez, and Phillip Malone also went 1-2 at the National Tournament concluding their seasons as National Qualifiers.
