Defending their home pitch tonight, the Lakers fought fearlessly for the whole 90 minutes but fell 3-0 to visiting team Indian Hills.

Both teams played evenly for majority of the first half but when a penalty kick was awarded for Indian Hills early in the 8th minute, the Lakers battled till half time, down 1-0.

The Lakers continued to compete but could not capitalize on their opportunities, allowing the Warriors to pull away with another pair of goals in the second half. One in the 56th minute and the other in the 89th minute.

Adelle Brown recorded 20 saves, keeping her Lakers in the game all night. Tessa Calabria, Ana Lima, Yecenia Sanchez, Madeleine Duncan, Sienna Scully and Jordyn Howell would add a total of 10 shots with 4 being on frame in the game. 

The Lakers are back on the road this week, returning to conference play as they battle Iowa Central on Wednesday at 2:00 PM.
