The Lakers took on Hawkeye community college today in Waterloo, IA.

In the first half, a goal 30 minutes in put Hawkeye on top. Despite being down a goal, the Lakers continued to push to find the back of the net but was unsuccessful.

Going into the second half, the Lakers struggled to possess and create chances. Every opportunity they created, Hawkeye shut the Lakers down. The Lakers did manage to hold off Hawkeye in keeping the half scoreless but still struggled to get any shots on goal.

There were 11 total shots in the game contributed by the Lakers. Celeste Diaz had 1, Tessa Calabria recorded 3 with 1 on goal, Ana Lima recorded 1, Madeleine Duncan had 2 both on goal and Sienna Scully recorded 4 with 3 on goal. Keeper Adelle Brown recorded 4 saves of the game.

The Lakers next face Iowa Western at home in Spencer, IA on Wednesday at 1 PM.
