The Lakers traveled to Council Bluffs, to take on the #1 ranked Reivers from Iowa Western. The Lakers kept the sheet clean in the first half with sophomore goalkeeper, Katerine Flores, who had 3 saves to keep the Reivers scoreless. Flores finished the game with 8 saves on 10 SOG from the Reivers. Moving into the second half, the Reivers found the back of the goal twice to take a 2-0 lead. The Lakers fall to 4-2 on the season, and will be back in action at home on Wednesday September 18th against Western Iowa Tech CC. Kickoff is set for 7:00 pm.
