The Lakers faced Division 1 Indian Hills CC Friday night in Spencer. The Warriors were the first to strike the back of the net, setting the tone early in the game. Just before halftime, freshman Ana Zamorano tied it up with an assist from sophomore Cayley Winters. After halftime, the Warriors scored again taking back the lead 2-1. The Lakers tied it up again at the 40:53 mark in the second half, with a goal by freshman Amelia Kimble, who was assisted by freshman Ana Zamorano. After the goal to tie it 2-2, the Lakers fell quiet and the Warriors took advantage of some late game fouls, leading them to score their 3^rd and final goal of the game. The Lakers fell 2-3 to RV Indian Hills and move to 5-3 on the season. The Lakers open up conference play Saturday September 21^st against Scott CC at 3:30pm.
