Commens will start join the team part way through the season again this year as she also competes for the Laker Soccer team.  Commens was a surprise addition a year ago when she joined the team in January and used her only two meets to qualify for NJCAA Nationals in several events.  Commens placed top 16 individually at nationals and was also part of two national relays.  

Commens will again compete in sprint freestyle and breaststroke events this season and will play a bigger role on Laker relays.
