The Iowa Lakes volleyball team continued their extended their extended road trip and were swept by NAIA Missouri Baptist University JV 19-25, 15-25, 15-25. Coach Mike Turnbull was not enamored with his team's performance, "We are so close to getting things figured out, but we have to get over the hump and figure it out. We have been able to hang in with some very tough competition but I really believe we can start taking it beyond that and win some of these. It doesn't get any easier Friday. We play #4 ranked Highland CC & follow that up with the Graceland College JV."

         "I have to credit our players for competing through a road trip that no team should have to play through. This week was previously scheduled and we said from the start that we would honor the schedule and not back out of any matches. For their sake, I hope we can play well on Saturday, possibly steal a win and come home feeling good about the trip," commented Coach Turnbull.
