Iowa Lakes traveled to Boone Wednesday night and were defeated convincingly, 3-0 (7-25, 17-25 , 10-25).
Coach Turnbull commented, "We picked the wrong time and place to struggle with all phases of the game. DMACC was clicking offensively & defensively and we just did not answer back. We need everyone to step up. We have some players being required to play different roles. Our starting setter, Jada Barker is out indefinitely with an injury and we went to Mary Kelly tonight. She did fine and will continue to improve. The rest of us have to step it up. We have to continue to work it out this weekend at the NIACC Tourney, before returning to ICCAC play next week."
