The Lakers went into Marshalltown on Saturday with 7 healthy players and gutted out a split. They opened the day with a 3-0 win over Dakota County CTC out of Rosemount, MN. (25-21, 26-24 & 25-20) The Lakers had to come back right away and play Division l Marshalltown. Iowa Lakes fell 0-3.(16-25, 10-25 & 20-25).
Coach Mike Turnbull was elated with the day in general. " We had everybody on board step up and contribute today. Our level of play was pretty consistent. We were solid in all phases of the game."
