Laker Volleyball Signs Sioux Central Standout

Iowa Lakes Community College Volleyball has added Sioux Central High School hitter, BrookLynn Anderson of Spencer, IA to their 2020 roster.

BrookLynn, a 2020 graduate, will join the Lakers this fall and major in Early Childhood Education. Iowa Lakes' volleyball Coach is elated that BrookLynn decided recently to attend Iowa Lakes and play volleyball. "We have been trying to recruit BrookLynn since last fall and I was excited when she contacted me the other day and said she would like to come and play for us. BrookLynn is a 4 year letter winner and was her teams' leading blocker and second on the team in kills. I really like the competitive emotion and passion she brings to the court. Watching her last fall it was always obvious she loved the game and played with a great motor. She will compete for playing time in all three hitting positions."

BrookLynn said, "I chose Iowa Lakes to study Early Elementary Education. I love the feeling of being close to home. My biggest goal coming out of high school was to play college volleyball and I feel this will be the perfect fit to continue my academic and athletic career."
