Iowa Lakes Volleyball Competes at RPK Invite

The Lakers opened the 2022-23 season at Southeast CC in Beatrice, NE this past weekend and jumped right into the fire. Expectations are high this year for the Lakers and the schedule has been set up to be a challenge and a grind. Coach Turnbull said, "We are trying to play to a higher level and we wanted our schedule to reflect that. Our players found that out right away this weekend. We feel we are going to be right in the thick of things in the ICCAC, the best Division II conference in the country and we want to get tougher playing a difficult schedule outside of the conference. We definitely got all of that and more this weekend. Now we go back to work on Monday and keep building on the positives from the weekend and focus hard on deficiencies."

On Saturday the Lakers played host Division II Southeast and closed with Division I Colby CC.
