Lakers making positive strides at Crossover Tournament in Coon Rapids

The Lakers had another tough weekend at Anoka-Ramsey Community College. Falling 3-1 to Alexandria Technical and Community College, 3-1 to Ridgewater College, 3-0 to Minnesota North College-Mesabi Range, and 3-0 to Century College. "There was loads of improvements from our last weekend. The team is figuring out where they need to be on defense to find success, attacking on serve and mixing up their shots on offense," said Coach Erdman. It was nice to see them rip a few sets off and battle tightly in a few others. "I am excited to see what this group looks like when they start to become more consistent and feel more confident in what they are capable of," said Coach Erdman.

The Lakers are 0-9. The Lakers will kick off ICCAC play next week at home against Southwestern Community College on Wednesday, September 30th at 7:00pm in Laker Gymnasium.
