Lakers come up just short against Spartans

The Lakers battled for five hard sets against Southwestern Community College, falling in the fifth 12-15. It was a back and forth night with the Spartans taking sets 1,3,5 and the Lakers taking sets 2 and 4. "We made a lot of positive strides on some of our goals, offensively we hit way more efficient than we have, we passed closer to our goal, and served excellently. It is always tough to come up just short in a match but you have to look back and see how you fought to get there", said Coach Erdman. "For almost all of the team this is there first experience at the fierce competition of the ICCAC, you can tell SWCC made huge strides in their off season to strengthen their program", said Coach Erdman.

The Lakers hit .114 with 54 kills a major improvement but still under their goal to compete with the rest of the conference.
