The Lakers returned a few injured players for their trip to Mason City to compete in the NIACC invitational. They took some time to get those connections together but put up a fight against some strong teams. They did not end up taking any sets but there was a lot of positive plays to focus on and areas of growth to take back with them for the following week. "It is nice to have all of our players back to playing health, we have battled injuries throughout the year. I was impressed by the fight we put up especially against a team just outside of the top 20 in Ellsworth," said Coach Erdman.

The Lakers are 1-30 and 0-7 in Conference. The Lakers host Sophomore Recognition Night on Tuesday, October 10th against Ellsworth with a recognition before the match at 7:00 pm. They also will travel to Mason City to take on NIACC at 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 12th
