The Lakers played host to the Cavaliers of Western Technical College. They came out firing and held a very efficient offense in the first set. The Lakers swept the Cavaliers 25-12,25-16,25-14. The offense was led by our middles Morgan Wigg and Hailey Shequen, as well as freshman outside Lily Kunselman. "I was very happy with the pressure we put on with our serves and our ability to make smart shots during the match. I am looking for the girls to bring that same energy and efficiency in a pivotal ICCAC matchup for us on Wednesday night, at home against Hawkeye Community College," Said Coach Erdman.

The Lakers are 8-22 and 2-4 in conference and sitting tied for 8th. The Lakers play host to Hawkeye Community College in an ICCAC matchup on Wednesday 10/9 at 7:00 and hope to be playing to as energetic of a fan based as was provided on Monday night.
