Iowa Lakes continues to add to their upcoming roster with the addition of Anika Vasquez from Houston, TX.

Anika saw plenty of sucess her Senior year with Waltrip (Houston) with a second place finish in the Panther Invite and the Gator Roll Invite. Her second place finish in the District tournament set her up for a 4-2 perfomace at the regional, allowing her to qualify for the UIL Girls State Championship.

Texas is historic with it's numbers on the girls wrestling side, having been a sanctioned sport since 1999.

Vasquez, being from Texas, will represent the 4th different state on the Iowa Lakes Women's Roster.
