The Laker's hard work is continuing to pay off as each competition sees more and more success.

Wednesday, Iowa Lakes Traveled to see #9 Ranked Ellsworth. There, they dropped a tough dual that came down to the final match 20-23. Wins from contested matches came from Savanna Galindo and Emma Gomez via the pin. Alex Carty and Leilana Kollasch also earned victories via forfeit. Morgan Griffin got an exhibition match at 155 and came away with a win via a quick pin.

Coach Corey Muniz had this to say, "This is the best we've looked. Plain and simple. Though we couldn't get the dual win tonight, it shows that we aren't far off. We are right there, every lady fought harder in their match than I have seen this far. The momentum is snowballing."
