The Lakers drop the their home dual to the Pathers of Ellsworth by a team score of 35-20
Iowa Lakes was not ready for the fight that Ellsworth brought as they dropped all five of the contested matches on the evening.
"All we can do is learn" said Coach Muniz, "We need to prepare better and take care of all the things in our control. If we can do that, the competition side of things will start to take care of itself." The Lakers saw some fight from a few of their athletes, but overall, it just was not their night.
They now look to the BVU open this weekend for their next opportunity. "BVU coming up is just what we need. We got kicked in the teeth pretty good, but we get a chance to turn right around and show just how competitive we can be." Added Muniz.
