Iowa Lakes Bounced Back en route to a second place team finish at the Buena Vista Open.

Leading the way for the Lakers were Isabel Jues (1-1), Leilana Kollasch (2-1), and Keyahna Phillips (4-1), all who finished 2nd place.

The team also had four other placers, with Lexi Timmerman (2-2), Holly Garrett (2-1), and Riley Weiler (2-1) finishing 3rd, as well as Nina Aceves (1-2) finishing 6th.

"We bounced back in the most appropriate way possible," Said Coach Corey Muniz, "We battled against a tough field and proved that we are making some great strides."

Of the 13 teams entered, only Wartburg Scored more team points. "We feed off of each other momentum. When we get rolling, it's a ton of fun to watch the ladies compete. They want to win for each other and in turn, compete their tails off."
