After a few forfiets at 103 and 110, Alex Carty dropped the match at 117.
Kylie Hessenius then dropped the match at 124 before the Lakers earned their first win at 131.
At 131, Isabel Jues got it rolling with a 10-0 Tech.

at 138 Riley Weiler faced off against 8th Ranked Ficken of Hawkeye, while down 8-4 after giving up a few big moves, she battled back in the second period to earn a big move of her own finishing up with a Fall.
"Weiler is another bright spot, with her being a freshman, we are looking to build onto our momentum and move forward with her season/career."
After Willow Stewart dropped a back and forth match at 145, Keyahna Phillips finished up the matches for Iowa Lakes With a fall @ 160.
"Keyahna has grown alot as a competitior this year, seeing her navigate through a match and a battle only futher drives home the progress we're making as a wrestler. She's a stud."
