Iowa Lakes Participates in Time Trials at NIACC

The Iowa Lakes cross country team opened our season with time trials hosted at NIACC today. We probably ran a little under what we were expecting but we did see some very good things and also found a few things we need to work on. On the women's side we were led by Jadin Bezdichek who ran a very solid race placing 19th in 22:53 Chelsea Cave placed 30th in 24:17 and Charli Miller placed 37th in 25:12. This was the first college meet for all three and we possibly were a little nervous and that affected our performance a little.

Our men also ran a little tight today. We were led by Nick Grandstaff placing 51st in 19:05, Andrew Tate placed 59th in 19:50, Kameron Rohwedder placed 61st in 19:56 followed by Zach Roach at 65th in 20:39 Jake Oliver placed 73rd in 21:25 and Rory Lindell placed 76th in 23:26

We will run next Friday at Simpson College in Indianola at 5:30 PM
