Estherville, Iowa - Friday, March 2, 2018

Iowa Lakes sophomore second baseman, Spenser Larson (Eden Praire, Minnesota), earned conference player of the week for his play against Southeastern Illinois College.

Against Southeastern Illinois, Larson contributed with three hits in six at bats including a pair of home runs and six RBI's. Along with the runs driven in, Larson scored three runs himself as well as stealing three bases successfully in the two wins. Larson, in 8 games, is hitting .414 with 2 homeruns, 9 RBI's, 9 runs scored, and 3 stolen bases.

Coach Pavlovich had this to say about Larson, "Spenser has come an extremly long way since last year. The difference between Spenser and everybody else is his ability to listen and adjust. He has taken on a leadership role and has been outstanding in all of his roles that he has been as asked to fill."
