Shahidi Receives All-Region Honorable Mention

The Iowa Lakes baseball program is proud to announce that Tavan Shahidi (Ames, Iowa) received Honorable Mention All-Region by Region XI for the 2018 season.

Tavan Shahidi, who is a sophomore for the Lakers, split time behind the plate as well as at first base where he recorded 135 putouts with our an error in 51 games played. Offensively, Shahidi collected 50 hits including 11 doubles and 10 homeruns while hitting .336 for the year. Shahidi also drove in 43 RBI's along with scoring 33 runs himself while positng a .445 on base percentage as well as a .611 slugging percentage.
