DMACC Captures Two To Defeat Lakers

Boone, IA — DMACC captures two to defeat Lakers

GAME ONE: (DMACC 12, Lakers 0)

The Lakers struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing DMACC, giving up 12 runs.

Kaleb Harrison (#28) got things started for DMACC, when he doubled in the first scoring two runs.

Logan Ferguson (Idaho Falls, ID/Idaho Falls High School) took the loss for the Lakers. The southpaw allowed six hits and six runs over two innings, striking out one.

DMACC totaled eight hits and did not commit a single error in the field.

GAME TWO: (DMACC 8, Lakers 7)

The Lakers collected ten hits, which DMACC collected 12 hits in a high-scoring affair.

Jackson Fisher (#20) got on the board early by hitting a one run RBI double. It was not until the third inning, when Jake Thilges (#32) doubled, putting DMACC on top 2-1.

The Lakers tallied six runs in the ninth inning. Dayton Robinson (EwaBeaon, HI/James Campbell High School) took the loss for the Lakers, allowing eight hits and five runs over four and two-thirds inning, while only striking out three.

Jerrett Novak (#38) attained the win for DMACC, allowing four hits, one run and striking out seven through six innings.

 

NEXT UP: Iowa Lakes plays a four-game series against Ellsworth Community College on March 27th & 28th, in Iowa Falls, IA. Game times are set at 1:00pm and 4:00pm.
