GAME ONE: (Trojans 8, Lakers 0)

The Lakers loss to the Trojans in an 8-0 game on Wednesday. The Trojans took the lead on a stolen base in the second inning.

The Lakers struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time containing the Trojans, giving up eight runs.

Noah Juliar (#44) put the Trojans on top, with a home run that drove in two runs.

Thomas Gross (#8) led the Trojans to victory, allowing four hits and no runs through seven innings, and sitting down 13.

Kedrick Edwards (#21) took the loss, the lefthander surrendered seven runs on six hits over five innings while sitting down five.

GAME TWO: (Trojans 7, Lakers 4)

The Lakers fell behind early and couldn't come back with a 7-4 loss to the Trojans. The Trojans scored on a home run by Ayrton Laird (#1), a single by Logan Milene (#21) and a single by Ben Wagner (#15) in the first.

Cole Hupke was the winning pitcher for the Trojans. Surrendering four runs on seven hits over six innings and striking out 11.

Jack Hested (#5) took the loss for the Lakers. Hested allowed nine hits and seven runs over eight and a third innings, striking out four and walking one.

NEXT UP: The Lakers take on the Kirkwood Eagles for a four-game weekend series, in Estherville, IA on April 24th-25th. Game times are set for Saturday 1pm and 4pm, and Sunday 12pm and 3pm.
