GAME THREE: (Lakers 16, Panthers 5)

Ellsworth scored four runs in the third inning, but Iowa Lakes still won 16-5 on Sunday.

Iowa Lakes Community College took the lead for good with seven runs in the third inning. In the third Caden White drew a walk, scoring one run, Peter Marquez singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, Ben Bach singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run, Akxel Soto drew a walk, scoring one run. Joey Winters singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Christian Gonzalez was credited with the victory for the Lakers. Gonzalez surrendered five runs on three hits over four innings, striking out six. Jack Hested threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Iowa Lakes smacked one home run on the day. Bach went for the long ball in the first inning. The Lakers totaled ten hits. Bach and White all managed multiple hits for the Lakers. Bach went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Iowa Lakes in hits.

GAME FOUR: (Lakers 12, Panthers 5)

Iowa Lakes nabbed the lead late in the game in a 12-5 victory over Ellsworth. The game was tied at five with Iowa Lakes batting in the bottom of the eighth when Delvis Claudio was hit by a pitch, driving in a run.

Luis Ramos led for the Lakers to victory by driving in five runs. Ramos went 2-for-5 at the plate. Ramos drove in runs on a single in the fifth and a double in the sixth.

Cade Witzke got the win for the Lakers. Witzke went six innings, allowing four runs on six hits and striking out four. Kelvin Castro threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Iowa Lakes hit one home run in the game. Ben Bach had a dinger in the eighth inning. The Lakers totaled ten hits in the game. Bach and Ramos each collected multiple hits for Iowa Lakes. Ramos and Bach all had two hits to lead the Lakers.
