Lakers take tough blow from Hawks

GAME ONE: (Hawks 15, Lakers 1)

The Lakers had a tough time generating runs on Saturday, dropping their game with the Hawks 15-1.

Bryan Mojica started the game for Iowa Lakes. The righty allowed five hits and six runs over six innings, striking out four. Riley Leng and Sean Gamble entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two-thirds of an inning and one-third of an inning respectively.

Iowa Lakes socked one home run on the day. Rafael Perez had a homer in the fifth inning.

Delvis Claudio, Joey Winters, Perez, and Ben Bach each collected one hit to lead Iowa Lakes. The Lakers were sure handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Akxel Soto had the most chances in the field with five.

 

Iowa Lakes takes on Des Moines Area Community College for a two-game home series on Tuesday, April 19th at 1:00/3:00 PM CST.
