GAME ONE: (Trojans 10, Lakers 4)
In the second inning, the Trojans got their offense started. Fuecken hit a solo homer.
In the bottom of the second inning, Iowa Lakes tied things up at two when Tyler Hoffman singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.
Sean Gamble toed the rubber for the Lakers. The righthander lasted five innings, allowing six hits and five runs while striking out four. Bryan Mojica, Kellen Cameron, and Christian Gonzalez each contributed to relief for Iowa Lakes.
The Lakers launched one home run on the day. Ben Bach went deep in the fifth inning.
Iowa Lakes racked up ten hits in the game. Bach and Delvis Claudio all managed multiple hits for the Lakers. Bach went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Iowa Lakes in hits. The Trojans saw the ball well today, racking up 11 hits in the game.
The Lakers face off against the Reiver's on Wednesday, April 27th. Game times are at 2:00PM and 4:00PM CST.
