It was a tough day on Wednesday for Iowa Lakes CC - Baseball, who lost 14-4 to Northeast CC - Baseball

Iowa Lakes CC - Baseball opened up scoring in the first inning, when Matt Torresan singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Northeast CC - Baseball pulled away for good with four runs in the fourth inning.  In the fourth Headrick singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Gill singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Wortman grounded out, scoring one run, and Young drew a walk, scoring one run.

Northeast CC - Baseball scored five runs in the seventh inning.  Taubert, #30, and Grevengood all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

#6 was the winning pitcher for Northeast CC - Baseball. The hurler allowed three hits and one run over two innings, striking out one and walking one.  #23 and #17 entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Christian Gonzalez took the loss for Iowa Lakes CC - Baseball. Gonzalez went three and a third innings, allowing seven runs on four hits and striking out three.

Bequmont started the game for Northeast CC - Baseball. Bequmont surrendered three runs on five hits over three innings, striking out four

Northeast CC - Baseball socked two home runs on the day. Wright put one out in the fifth inning. Taubert had a four bagger in the seventh inning.

Iowa Lakes CC - Baseball totaled nine hits.  Fernando Bones and Torresan each collected multiple hits for Iowa Lakes CC - Baseball.  Torresan and Bones each managed two hits to lead Iowa Lakes CC - Baseball.  Iowa Lakes CC - Baseball tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Torresan led the way with two.

Northeast CC - Baseball totaled 11 hits in the game.  Gill, Taubert, and Horn each had multiple hits for Northeast CC - Baseball.
