Iowa Lakes Community College Head Softball Coach, Katie Larson, has announced Jadynn Moore to the 2020-2021 recruiting class. Jadynn is the daughter of Kevin and Traci Moore and attends Estherville Lincoln Central High School in Estherville, Iowa.
"It is going to be great to have another Estherville softball player in the program." Commented Coach Larson. "Coach Anderson does a great job at ELC and it will be fun to watch Jadynn grow the next two years."
An infielder, Moore has received three letters in softball. She has compiled a career .302 batting average, with 46 hits, including five doubles, one triple, and four homeruns. She has a .436 on-base percentage and has drove in 21 runs. For her efforts, Moore has been awarded First Team All-Conference and First Team All-District.
Moore had this to say, "I chose Iowa Lakes to continue my education and softball career because being able to stay in my hometown and play in front of my family and friends will be exciting. It will help me push myself to succeed and hopefully go to a high level."
A three-time letter winner in basketball, one-time letter winner in track, and one-time letter winner in volleyball, Moore has found success off the diamond as well. Additionally, she has received the bar for A and B honor roll.
"Jadynn is the type of athlete that every coach wants on their team. She has the physical capabilities to do so much. She is versatile in the field, playing numerous different positions, but also at the plate, as she has many tools in her arsenal. She will keep the defense honest and, on their toes, and will be able to push the envelope on the bases for us. I am thrilled to work with Jadynn and cannot wait to see what she accomplishes as a Laker."
