The Iowa Lakes freshman was as consistent as you can get while competing at the Dordt Spring Invitational. Isabella Santistevan posted her career-best round with an 83 in round one, then tied it with an 83 in round two. With nine-hole splits of 41-42-41-42, the 166 was her best career 36-hole score. The effort earned her 11th place at the meet, and she led the way for the Lakers who finished fourth as the only NJCAA team at the event.

"Isabella has been one of the brightest spots for this team all year. She has an incredible energy to her and work ethic that are offering infectious to the entire team. She shows up every day with a smile and determination that truly leads this team. She has worked tirelessly this entire year and had seen her scores go lower and lower, and I have no doubt she won't continue to do so down the road. I could not be more proud of how far she's come in a short amount of time, and I really look forward to seeing where she keeps going in the future while helping to lead this program," commented Coach Weber.
