Iowa Lakes Wrestling had a strong showing this weekend at the North Central Disctict regional qualifier. The Lakers overcame the odds placing 4th as a team outplacing both #14 Ellsworth and #15 NIACC. The team pushed 6 wrestlers through to the national tournament highlighted by four 3rd place finishes. 

The Lakers final placements are as follows:

133 Ayden Rader 3rd place (National Qualifier)

141 Tyrick Clay 6th place

149 Elijah Broesder 4th place (National Qualifier)

157 Eddy Ndayikengurukiye 6th place

165 Trevor Kruse 5th place (National Qualifier)

174 LaTravion Agu 6th place

184 John Colburne 3rd Place (National Qualifier)

197 Zavione Willis 3rd place (National Qualifier)

285 Jacob Rahn 3rd place (National Qualifier)

The Lakers will return to action at the NJCAA National Tournament March 3rd and 4th in Council Bluffs.
