This weekend the Lakers traveled to Boone to wrap up the 2025 season. In game 1 the Lakers only had 1 hit in the 0-6 loss. In game 2 the lakers came alive having 7 hits but couldn't plate any runs. Sophomore Elkin Ortiz and freshman Johnny Marcos (double) each had 2 hits. Sophomore Beau Dalian, freshmen Nick Ryun and Carson Riggs each had a hit. In game 3 the Lakers came out swinging, tallying 14 runs on 17 hits. Leading the offense for the Lakers was sophomore Elkin Ortiz with 3 hits (double) and 2 RBIs. Sophomores Drake Van Meter (2RBIs), Luis Cedeno (RBI) both had 2 hits, freshmen Boyd Jones (2 RBIs), Jace Embry (2 RBIs, Homerun, 2 Walks), and Spencer Kober (RBI) all added 2 hits each. Sophomores Beau Dalian (2 RBIs) and Keyber Delgado both had a hit; freshmen Johnny Marcos and Nick Ryun tallied a hit as well. Getting the final start of the season was sophomore Mason Hicks, who went 5.2 innings allowing 6 hits, 3 runs, 3 earned runs, 6 walks and 5 strikeouts. Coming in as relief was freshman Adam Timm, who went 2.1 innings and allowed 1 hit, no runs, 2 walks and 3 strikeouts.
The Lakers finished the season 10-43 overall, and 2-31 in conference.
