Estherville, IA- The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team moved to 9-2 overall and 1-0 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference play with a 110-94 win at Northeast.
The Lakers were led by Kai Evans with 36 points. Ashton Hermann had 23 points, Jaedan Jefferson had 20 points and 11 rebounds, and Sam West added 13 points.
Northeast was led by Jacob Martin with 18 points.
"Really proud of our guys effort tonight. We did a really good job defensively and on the glass in the first half. In the second half we handled their run and ultimately stretched the lead back to 16 late." said Laker Men's Head Coach Jason McKinney.
The Lakers will next play next Saturday December 9th when they host Southwestern. Tip for that game will be at 3pm.
