The Lakers traveled to Waterloo, IA, for the spring season-opening tournament. The field was comprised of four teams (30 individuals.) Iowa Lakes finished 4th as a team. Leah Becker led the team with a 90 (+18), landing her an 11th-place finish. Abby Brooks was close behind with a 91 (+19) in 12th place. Results are listed below:

"I was pleased with our attitudes. We have only had 3-4 days of solid practice outdoors so I knew we would have a lot of rust coming into this tournament. We've worked a lot on swing mechanics and shortgame. We just haven't had the reps to instill the confidence it takes. We will continue to grind at practice and build our confidence and it will start translating to tournament scores." said Coach Myers. 

The Lakers travel to Fort Dodge for a two-day event on April 11th and 12th.
