Iowa Lakes Wrestling travelled to Steven's Point Wisconsin this weekend to go head to head with tough competition. Freshmen Aiden Crawley, Fischer Hawkins, and Tyreik Davison posted their first college wins. Sophomores Ayden Rader and Osvaldo Ocampo also pulled off some big wins to start the season. Head Coach Corey Meyer had this to say about the teams performance Saturday, "The first competition it's good to see where we need to improve and where our opportunities to get better are. We get to see the team implement the stuff were doing in the room in competition. Im excited to see what we do the rest of the season both in training and in future competition." Overall, the Lakers performed well and showed a fighting spirit they can be proud of.
