Fife Kicks Off Spring Season

Karli Fife competed as an individual at the Iowa Central Community College Invitational at Fort Dodge Country Club. The competitive field featured a mix of NAIA, D3, and JUCO schools. Fife tallied scores of 105 - 101 over the weekend, which landed her a 45th finish.

"I saw a lot of good things out of Karli this weekend. She had some mental fatigue which is to be expected after a long winter break. As she continues to dial in her yardages and get back into the grind of competitive golf, her scores will steadily improve. Karli has a bright future as a Laker and I'm anxiously waiting for that breakthrough tournament for her. As she continues to prove to herself that she's good enough to compete at the college level, we will see her really start to climb these leaderboards," said Coach Myers. "Karli has a ton of talent that we haven't even tapped into yet. I think she's going to shock herself over the next 1.5 years at what she's able to accomplish."
