FRESHMAN YEAR (2022): In her first season as a Laker, Thorson played in 50 games. She compiled a .454 batting average with a .507 on-base percentage. She racked up 59 hits, including 11 doubles and 6 homeruns. Thorson was a perfect 25-25 in stolen bases and 29 times on the season. For her efforts, Thorson was selected to the ICCAC All-Region 1st Team. Additionally, she was selected as an Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar athlete. She was also honored as an ICCAC Academic All-Region 1st Team selection and a NJCAA Academic All-American 2nd Team selection.

HIGH SCHOOL (2021): As a utility player for the Bull Dawgs, Thorson has lettered all four years. She has earned a .436 batting average with 114 hits, including eight doubles, four triples, and four homeruns. She has an impressive .482 on-base percentage and has driven in 49 of her teammates. In the field, she has a .937 fielding percentage, with 49 assists and 99 putouts. Thorson was selected for the All-Metro Coaches Team in both the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 seasons. She was also selected for the All-Academic Team during the 2019-2020 school year. Thorson has been an all-around standout athlete at Burke High School. She has a total of twelve letters in her career, including four in both basketball and track. Additionally, Thorson has been on the academic honor roll all four years of high school.

PERSONAL: Alyssa is the daughter of Rob and Kristin Thorson and has one sister named Zoe. When Alyssa finishes school, her dream is to become a Physical Therapist. She loves to eat chicken alfredo and watching the show Gilmore Girls. Alyssa's favorite movie is Mulan and song is "Can't Stop the Feeling" by Justin Timberlake. One of her nicknames is "Goose" and the most interesting place she has visited is Disney World.
