FRESHMAN YEAR (2024): Burgess was named to the ICCAC Honorable Mention Team, the ICCAC Academic 1st Team, and the Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar team. Burgess played in 51 games with a battin gaverage of .324. She slugged 15 homeruns, while stealing 36 bases.

HIGH SCHOOL (2023): Burgess is a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School. In her senior campaign, Burgess posted a .356 batting average with a .405 on-base percentage. She compiled 53 hits with 8 doubles, 2 triples, and 5 homeruns. Burgess drove in 22 of her teammates while crossing the plate 21 times herself. In the classroom, Burgess was on the Principal's Honor Roll all four years.

PERSONAL: Burgess is the daughter of Marty and Paris Burgess and has two siblings, Alexi and Ainsley. She will be acquiring her Associate of Science Degree while at Iowa Lakes with the dream of becoming a Speech Pathologist. A couple of Burgess' nicknames are "Abs" or "Burgy" and the most interesting place she has visited is Las Vegas. Her favorite food is pizza and she likes the color blue. Burgess' favorite TV show is The Office and movie is The Hunger Games.
