Iowa Lakes Community College Head Softball Coach, Katie King, has announced Kaylee Steinbring to the 2024-2025 recruiting class. Steinbring is the daughter of Kelley and Cara Steinbring. She is from Grand Prairie, Texas and attends South Grand Prairie.

"We are extremely excited to welcome Kaylee to the Iowa Lakes Softball family," commented Coach King. "Kaylee is a high-quality student-athlete and person. She is a determined young lady that gives 110% to the things that she believes in. She is going to be a tremendous role-model to the student-athletes in the area that strive for greatness."

As a catcher/infielder, Steinbring has had success in her sport. She has been named to the Dallas Fort Wirth Area Metroplex Team and also Catcher of the Year.

Steinbring had this to say about Iowa Lakes, "I chose Iowa Lakes because I saw an opportunity to grow not only as a player, but as a person."

Coach King also had this to say about Kaylee, "Kaylee was almost like one of the final pieces to the puzzle. She can play the left side of the infield just as easily as she can catch, and she can do them all well. She has a very strong arm and quick transfer which will bode well for her at both positions. She will also provide our lineup with some much needed power next year. We are excited for the opportunity to coach Kaylee and cannot wait to see her in the blue and gold uniform next year!"
