The Lakers are now 13-3 on the season.

GAME 1: 6 (ILCC), 1 (CCC)

Macy Alderson got the Lakers on the board first when she led off the third inning with a homerun over the right field fence.

Cuyahoga quickly tied things up in the top of the fourth on a walk and back to back singles.

With the score tied 1-1, the Lakers took the final lead of the game in the fifth. Kiaya Dunbar doubled and then advanced to third on an Alderson single. Alderson then stole second to put herself in scoring position. Bryn Bohmann hit a sacrifice fly to score Dunbar. Alderson then scored on a MacKenna Jones double to put the Lakers up 3-1. With Jones at second, Paige Grafton walked, before both runners scored on Baylee O'Donnell's double off the fence.

Iowa Lakes' final run of the game came when Brielle Bartelt reached on an error. Dunbar was hit by a pitch and Alderson singled to load up the bases. Jones drew a walk to score Bartelt to complete the 6-1 victory.

Macy Alderson was perfect at the plate, going 3-3 with two runs scored, two stolen bases, and three runs batted in. MacKenna Jones (6-0) pitched all seven innings. She allowed one earned run on four hits and four walks. She struck out ten batters in the game.

GAME 2: 14 (ILCC), 1 (OCC) 5 innings

Both teams were held scoreless, until Karisa Hernandez led off the bottom of the second with a single. She then advanced to third on an Onondaga error from a groundball by Abby Zahn. Sydnee Swiggum hit a sacrifice fly to score the Laker's first run of the game. Dunbar followed with a double, scoring Zahn from first and putting the Lakers up 2-0. With Dunbar on second, the final run of the inning came from a Bohmann single up the middle.

The Lakers got on the board again in the third, scoring six in the bottom of the third. O'Donnell reached on a one out single and then advanced to second on a Hernandez single. Zahn grounded into a fielder's choice, forcing Hernandez out at second. With runners on the corners, Swiggum walked to load up the bases. Dunbar continued her hot hitting with a double down the line, scoring two and advancing Swiggum to third. Alderson followed with a single to score both Swiggum and Dunbar to put the Lakers up 7-0. Bohmann then hit a shot over the left field fence to allow two more runs to cross the plate.

Onondaga scored their lone run in the top of the fourth. With two outs, they had a runner reach on a single. This was followed by a walk before both runners advanced on a wild pitch. Grafton then used some heads up thinking to get a runner out in a rundown, but unfortunately the run crossed the plate before the out was made.

Iowa Lakes quickly responded with Olivia Funk entered the game and drove a ball over the fence. O'Donnell followed the homerun with a double, before scoring on a Hernandez triple. Zahn then hit a shot at the second baseman that was misplayed, allowing Hernandez to score. Zahn advanced to second on a groundout from Dunbar. With two outs, Alderson doubled to score Zahn and then scampered across the plate herself from a Bohmann single.

Karisa Hernandez was 3-3 at the plate, with a triple and two runs scored.
